ABOUT THE MENTOR - Meet Dr. Sirazuddin, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and former Crop Scientist, is an esteemed scholar from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUA&T), Pantnagar. Dr. Sirazuddin received his M.Sc. in Agronomy and Ph.D. in Agronomy with a minor in Soil Science from GBPUA&T in 2014 and 2019, respectively.

✔ Qualifications: Dr. Sirazuddin has been recognized for his academic excellence and achievements. He was felicitated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India, as one of the Top 100 meritorious students of India. He had the honor of being invited as a guest of the Prime Minister to witness the Republic Day parade in 2013 from the PM's box. He was a Chancellor’s Medalist during his graduation and was nominated for the Best Student Award in his post-graduation phase.

Dr. Sirazuddin has a distinguished record in competitive exams, achieving the 6th rank in the ICAR-Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) and qualifying thrice in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Mains exams. His expertise extends to multiple agricultural competitive exams. He is ICAR-NET qualified and a lifetime member of the prestigious Indian Society of Weed Science. 
Dr. Sirazuddin's contributions include impactful TV talks on agricultural topics featured on platforms such as E-Vidya channel of NIOS and Annadata Program on NEWS 18. His research is documented in esteemed journals. He has authored "Agro-Soil Simplified," contributed to books on Organic Farming and Integrated Weed Management, and serves as a reviewer for Agriculture & Food: e-newsletter.
